Julie Danao-Salkin

Cultural Arts Director

Julie Danao-Salkin, writer, vocal instructor, and former Broadway performing artist, graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Wilkes University. Her credits include original Broadway shows and National Tours: Miss Saigon, Saturday Night Fever, Aida, and Lennon. Off-Broadway: The Karaoke Show and Savages. Her orchestral concerts included Les Miserables, South Pacific, and Flower Drum Song. 2G Productions workshopped her shows, “Thank You”, “Andrew”, and “Something More”, featuring original songs and stories performed at the Cutting Room, Joe’s Pub, and The Bowery Ballroom. Julie worked for the University of Miami Theatre Department and currently teaches at the New York Film Academy.
