Monique Franz

Monique Franz is the Executive Director of Kinsman Avenue Publishing, Inc. (KAP) and the Senior Director of the Kinsman Quarterly. She earned her MFA in Creative Writing at Wilkes University, where she teaches seasonal workshops and acts as the Alumni Liaison. Franz has written and directed several professional productions, featured in Hong Kong, including Secret of the Manger. Her most recently published work is Legacy of the Father, a play collection inspired by real individuals struggling with the impact of absentee fathers. Franz also founded Sistas in Hong Kong, a group celebrating women of the African Diaspora, where she became active in. serving professional women of color and African asylum-seekers and refugees.
