Contest for Full-length Chapbooks
Submit your full-length poetry collection (50–150 pages) for the Memoir in Verse Award, celebrating one BIPOC or underrepresented poet with a thematic collection, capturing a personal journey or season of life. INSPIRATION
Stories of
Submissions Open Throughout 2026
Nonfiction essays of inspiration wanted (between 500 - 1200 words). Submissions should highlight the struggle and resilience of the human spirit, especially related to cultures of marginalized communities. Essays must be original, unpublished works in English. Selected entries will be made each quarter and will be included in Kinsman Quarterly's digital magazine. Selected authors receive $100 cash and publication in our digital and print magazine. Poetry and play monologues wanted from students 12 to 19 years old. Ongoing submissions. Prizes include publication and Amazon gift cards up to $50.
