Danah Lassiter serves as Theater and Film Program Chair of Kinsman Avenue Publishing, where she helped develop the Kinsman Black Box online script database to expand access to culturally rich theatrical works and improve representation in theater. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Wilkes University and brings experience writing demo-reel scripts for indie NYC actors, as well as pitching stories across sports entertainment, podcasting, and gaming. Through this work, Danah helps amplify BIPOC and traditionally underrepresented playwrights while connecting their scripts to schools, theaters, churches, and community programs.
